Terminal Setup (Out of Box)

Easily set up your terminal for the first time by following these simple steps:

Before you complete this setup, the Serial Number and Device ID will not yet be linked. This linking happens automatically once you finish the setup process on the terminal and enter the Device ID.

Power On Terminal

Hold the power button on the side of the terminal to switch it on.

• Make sure the terminal is fully charged before starting.

Select Language

1. The first screen will display language options.

2. Select your preferred language.

Network Setup

• The terminal will show available Wi-Fi networks.

• Alternatively, select Ethernet or USB at the bottom if using those connections.

• If using Wi-Fi, enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Next.

Enter Device ID

1. Either scan the QR code from your welcome email or manually enter your Device ID.

If you are unsure of your Device ID, contact the Help Desk.

Checking for Updates

• The terminal will merge with your account and check for updates.

• Allow the terminal to complete all updates do not turn it off during this process.

Ready to Use

1. Once updates are complete, the terminal will restart.

2. You will either go directly to the sale screen or be prompted to set up manager and cashier passcodes.
