Clear Entity ID And POIUID

Sometimes a terminal may need to have its Entity ID and POI UID cleared from its cache. This is usually necessary if the terminal has been moved to a different organization in Verifone Central, or in a few other similar situations. Note: This process is not a factory reset.

From the payment app screen, swipe down from the top of the display.

Tap the 9-box grid icon next to the Wi-Fi symbol to open the Launcher.

Open Device Manager.

Select Host Param Options.

Enter your Admin Code.

Please contact the Help Desk to obtain your Admin Code.

Scroll down and choose “Clear EntityID and POIUID.”

You should see a message saying “Entity Data deleted.”

Restart the terminal.
