Terminal Reset Process

  1. Slide down from the top (or up from the bottom) and open the App Launcher (9-box grid).

  2. Select Reset Setup Wizard.

  3. Enter the Admin Passcode (Contact Help Desk to obtain Admin Passcode).

  4. Swipe up from the bottom and tap More options.

  5. Tick Reset DID and Request key exchange.

  6. Tap the message: “RESET DEVICE AND RESTART (WARNING: POWER COULD DRAIN BEFORE MERCHANT ACTIVATES)”.

The terminal will restart and start from the Out Of Box Experience (OOBE).

Note: If you use this method instead of Device Manager and encounter issues, you may need to clear EntityID and POIUID.
