Terminal Configuration

Please bear in mind that this is only for bulk terminal configuration. Please check the terminal model and config type before sending out the update, as this might cause an error

Login To Webcom

Hover over TMS and select Terminals Config Allocations.

Select Download Type

Select Terminal Config

Configuration File

Select your desired configuration file.

You would have to create a configuration first. Please refer to: Creating Terminal Configuration

Download Options

Select Mandatory from the drop down menu.

Terminal Options

Either select:

  • By PTID - You can select terminals by their PTID.

  • All System Terminals - All terminals on the system (Not recommended if you have a large estate).

  • Distribution List - You can select by distribution list already created. (Please refer to page 50 on the Webcom Manual).

Image Group

Select your desired Terminal Image Group if required.

Please refer to: Terminal Images, if there are no image needed for the terminal, you can leave this

Enter PTID

If you have selected 'By PTID' in step 6 please either select;

  • Select from list - Use the drop down list to find and select the desired PTID

  • Enter PTID - Enter the desired PTID and press Add.

Note: If you have multiple terminals you will need to add them in one at a time before moving on to step 9.

Preview

Select preview.

Apply Update

Review all the terminals listed and once you are happy
