# How to Reboot the a P400

#### Initiate the Menu

Press and hold the **Red X** button for **10 seconds**.

#### Choose an Option

When the menu appears, select either:

* Restart – to reboot the terminal, or
* Shutdown – to power the terminal off completely

#### Powering Back On

If you selected **Shutdown**, simply press and hold the **Green O** button to switch the terminal back on.
